Our Story · Since 1972

Two companies, one engineering family

Our story began in Caracas in 1972 with Técnica Fase, S.A. — a 100% Venezuelan engineering firm built to bring the world's best power and water technology to the country, and to stand behind it with hands-on installation, testing, and commissioning. For more than five decades, Técnica Fase has been a trusted name across Venezuela's generation, transmission, and distribution systems.

ACQUATELLA Ingeniería, Corp. was founded in Miami to carry that same engineering tradition forward. Faced with Venezuela's circumstances, we chose not to step away from the country we come from, but to build a base from which we could keep supporting it — while extending the same standard of technical advising, equipment, and lifelong support to the Caribbean and Central America.

The two companies share leadership, represented manufacturers, and a single way of working. Led by Roberto Acquatella and Neil Acquatella, ACQUATELLA Ingeniería is a second-generation family firm — the continuation of a legacy, not a fresh start.

“We stand on the shoulders of a giant. They are big shoes to fill — and every project is a chance to honor them.”

Where We Work

Two disciplines, one standard of support

Power Systems

High-voltage and medium-voltage transmission and distribution — from SF₆ gas management and surge protection to transformer care and substation connectors. We help utilities and EPC contractors specify, deploy, and maintain critical grid equipment.

Backed by DILO, Tridelta Meidensha, Arras MAXEI, Radiodetection, and Grupo ARRUTI.

Water & Wastewater Networks

Leak detection, network monitoring, and the reduction of non-revenue water across potable and wastewater systems. A discipline we have supported in the region since the late 1990s, helping operators find losses and protect their infrastructure.

Backed by Radiodetection and HWM since the late 1990s.
